Angelyn Cheatham

Technology Training Coordinator

Garland ISD

I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor or Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. Then, I earned a Master of Education with my Master Technology Teacher certification through Southern Methodist University.

I have conducted numerous trainings within my district to various teachers, campuses, and students, as well as at conferences around the United States. TCEA is by far my favorite conference of the year because of the deep content, various connections, and of course the amazing Austin food.

I am a proud Baylor Bear. Sic ‘em! I graduated from Baylor in 2002 with a B.A. in English & Professional Writing with a Minor in Rhetoric and Argumentation. My master’s is in Educational Administration from Concordia University. My beautiful wife is a third grade teacher in Forney ISD and we have a 20 month old son who keeps us laughing!

My job keeps me traveling around my district supporting teachers through modeling and coaching. Also, I work with the curriculum folks to embed technology applications in the curriculum. I am proud to say that I am presenting at TCEA and look forward to meeting many old friends and making new connections this week!
